Rooted in the romance of European cafe culture, we reimagined the iconic X-back stool with a relaxed, weathered-oak finish. A sculpted, solid-oak frame curves into graceful arches and a rounded footrest, lending lightness without sacrificing stability. The seat's woven rattan caning adds breathable texture and a subtly cushioned feel that wears beautifully in busy kitchens. We love how the cross-braced back nods to Michael Thonet's bistro originals while feeling modern-farmhouse friendly. Pull one up to an island or tall table--its airy silhouette, tactile materials, and lived-in patina make everyday meals feel a touch more charming.
  • Solid oak frame in a weathered-oak finish with visible grain
  • Handwoven rattan caned seat for breathable comfort and texture
  • Classic X-back and arched under-seat braces recall bistro design
  • Rounded footrest stretcher enhances comfort and everyday durability
  • Light, curved silhouette suits farmhouse, coastal, and casual spaces
