What is Coastal Furniture & Decor?

Coastal furniture inspired by the beach-side lifestyle of New England to Morocco and every culture in between are delivered in this collection. Our curation focuses on not only the trending pieces in modern cottages, but also heritage designs that were inspired by traditional seaside cultures. This allows you to match a draping white tufted sofa or modern low-profile sectional with a geometric North African coffee table featuring intricately carved wood trims. For rugs, you can further accentuate the tribal look with a Moroccan rug, or learn towards contemporary aesthetic with a blue and white striped rug. To furnish a nautical bedroom, choose a bed with a rustic wood headboard and place a table lamp with sandstone base on a matching nightstand for a lazy oasis. Through our coastal furniture, we hope to share our passion for nautical design with you and your home.

How to Design with Coastal Furniture & Decor?

Costal design is popularly anchored by neutral color palette (white, ivory, and sandstone) highlighted by blue, turquoise or salmon pink. Adding some plant life via a vase hung from jute ropes or in a stone vase/pot can provide breathability to your space. Introduce some seashells and rope balls to accent your rustic wood table or sideboard. When choosing a dining chair, try to pick one constructed from woven reed or bamboo for an eye-catching look. For lighting, we like any lamp that has a shade that is a bit thin to recreate an airy essence, or, in contrast, opt for a deep black metal lamp to balance out all the pale tones elsewhere in the room. If you want to feel like a professional designer, try to layer 2 rugs on top of another - one should be a thin jute rug and another layer can be a cotton rug with a geometric pattern or unique texture. Coastal furniture tend to be understated, so you can be more ambitious with your decor choices.
